I may or may not have given this speech to my J.V. Soccer team yesterday against Meadville to pump them up before the game:
"As you all know, It's Honduran Independence Day. So today we play for Honduras. Hondurans are fast. Hondurans are quick. Hondurans are agile. Hondurans are aggressive. Hondurans are physical. And most of all, Hondurans come to the ball strong and knock people off the ball. NOW LET'S GO WIN THIS FOR HONDURAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!!!!"
The end of the game was just as exciting when we destroyed the other team 7-1 and then my team chased me down, got in a tight dome of a huddle around me while chanting Honduras and while I screamed out "este es por ti, Fernando, este es por ti, Tomas, este es por ti, Ricardo, este es por ti, Cesar este es por ti, Luis, este es por ti, HONDURAAAAAAS" and then a lot of other spanish words that I just don't care to repeat. Overall a pretty satisfying end to the game.
